The textile chain
Better lifting, better securing with DoNova®.
Safe working has never been this easy!
The DoNova® textile chain is made of chain links consisting of several layers of high performance webbing made with Dyneema®. That creates unique advantages because DoNova® is strong as high strength steel chain grade but up to 85% lighter. DoNova® is used where quick and efficient lashing or lifting is required. Safe working has never been this easy! And as we rank the security of the working tools first, the textile chain is dekra-certified for variants PowerLash and PowerLift.

How do I use the DoNova® Chain?

PowerLash
The textile lashing chain

Heavy load securement at its best
When used as a lashing chain DoNova® PowerLash challenges the steel chain grade 80 with nominal thickness 13 mm. Certified by Dekra and with a lashing capacity of 10.000 daN even the heaviest loads can be secured easily.
The extreme low weight of DoNova® PowerLash provides for easy handling of heavy duty load securing devices. This enables the handling of longer lashing chains with more than 20 m of usable length even with only one operator.
The flexible textile chain-links can be connected with nearly every high-tensile chain component. In order to shorten the chain a standard high-tensile shackle is sufficient.
This chain is produced in cooperation with DSM and is suitable for heavy use since it is extremely resistant against abrasion, chemicals and seawater.

Problem-solving for all applications
Doleco lashing chain with ratchet load binder
The ratchet load binder has been specially developed for the textile chain and makes the tensioning and shortenting of DoNova® PowerLash possible. It has a widened hook support (grade 10, WLL 22,000 Lb.) that guarantees a long service life. The lashing hook with the adapted clevis hook mount has likewise been developed for the special shape of the textile chain.
Doleco lashing chain with lashing strap as tensioning element
DoNova® PowerLash may be used with the lashing strap as tensioning element. In this combination the WLL 22,000 Lb. of the textile chain must be matched to the WLL of the tensioning elements employed (straight pull or loop). The hooks are hooked into the respective chain element.
Doleco head sling
Since the load has no fastening points, it is secured with a sling that runs over the edges. This is called indirect lashing. Usage of DoNova® PowerLash for this application is possible as well.
Your weight savings calculator
The physical stress decreases significantly with the use of DoNova® PowerLash textile chains significantly. Accidents and downtime of staff can be reduced. With this useful tool you can calculate how much weight you save by using the DoNova® PowerLash instead of conventional steel chains.

Modular System
DoNova® lashing chain is offered as a modular system. This allows it to be configured flexibly for the specific application.
The customer selects the chain length (strands in lengths of 3,5 m and 6 m are standard), the number of hooks and tensioner elements required and, if necessary, additional shackles for the connection or shortening of chain strands.
The additional option for the system with clevis hook is a system with coupling links, nominal size 13. The advantage: An eye sling hook (with at least nominal size 13 and grade 8) can then be attached.

Does DoNova® clevis hook fit your lashing point?
An adapted clevis hook has been specially developed for the textile chain. On the basis of the following figure you can check whether it fits your lashing point. If it doesn’t, an easy solution with a coupling link is possible as the modular system of DoNova® PowerLash allows the highest flexibility. Contact us for more information. We will help you further.

PowerLift
The textile lifting sling

Perfect for lifting delicate loads
When DoNova® is used as a lifting chain - besides the spectacularly easy handling - the protection of the load is in focus.
The soft and flexible webbing chain is suited perfectly to lift delicate loads or to protect sensitive surfaces from damages by the lifting device.
The DoNova® PowerLift is as powerful as a lifting chain grade 80 with 13 mm diameter. The 25 mm width webbing made of Dyneema® in a single leg DoNova® PowerLift - textile chain sling reaches a carrying capacity of 5000 kg.
With a 4-leg chain sling the WLL is 10.500 kg. Low weight and best handling is guaranteed.
For lifting asymmetric loads DoNova®-PowerLift can be easily shortened with high strength shackles.
